Senior Architectural Systems provide high performance Curtain Wall solutions for new and refurbished buildings. Two Systems are available: SCW – Semi-Utilised and SCW+ – Enhanced Thermal Break, Semi-Utilised.
SCW Curtain Wall
SCW Curtain Wall is a Low Rise Curtain Wall System. Its mullions and transoms are a channel and plate construction, allowing it to be fabricated into ladders for quicker assembly on site.
It is compatible with the SD Commercial Door and SFG Ground Floor Treatment, making it an economical alternative to Stick System Curtain Walls. It can also accept Window and Door Inserts from the SPW300 and SPW600 range. A range of mullion sizes and reinforcing sections are available to allow for greater spans as required. The SCW Curtain Wall System is capable of carrying glazing from 10mm Single Glazing to 28mm Double Glazing. Each pane of glass is individually inserted into a fully rebated and prepared opening. Glass is retained in position by pressure plates screwed into extruded screw ports in the face of the main sections. Cover caps conceal the fixing screws for an aesthetic exterior appearance. The system is compartmentally drained and has been fully weather tested to the requirements of BS6375 and will meet the thermal requirements of the Approved Document L and Section 6 in Scotland.
