Two Systems are available: SCW Semi-Utilised and SCW+ Enhanced Thermal Break, Semi-Utilised.
SCW CURTAIN WALL
SCW Curtain Wall System has been designed with enhanced thermal performance to meet current building regulations.
It is a box and plate, zone drained and pressure equalised system and offers a slim 50mm sightline, with a choice of 3 mullion and 4 transom depths. The system is capable of being fabricated into ladders for quick assembly on site.
It is compatible with the SD Commercial Door and SFG Ground Floor Treatment, making it an economical alternative to Stick System Curtain Walls. It can also accept Window and Door Inserts from the SPW300 and SPW600 range. A range of mullion sizes and reinforcing sections are available to allow for greater spans as required.
The SCW Curtain Wall System is capable of carrying glazing from 6mm Single Glazing to 28mm Double Glazing. Each pane of glass is individually inserted into a fully rebated and prepared opening. Glass is retained in position by pressure plate screws into extruded screw ports in the face of the main sections. Cover caps conceal the fixing screws for an aesthetic exterior appearance.
The system is compartmentally drained and has been fully weather tested to the requirements of BS6375-1 and will meet the thermal requirements of the Approved Document L and Section 6 in Scotland.
SCW+ CURTAIN WALL
The SCW+ Curtain Wall System is a thermally enhanced version of SCW, with larger thermal barriers and high performance gaskets to meet current building regulations. It is a box and plate, zone-drained and pressure equalised system and offers a slim 50mm sightline, with a choice of 3 mullion and 4 transom depths.
The system is capable of being fabricated into ladders for quick assembly on site and can accept a variety of glazing types.
Other profiles can be incorporated giving flexibility of design.
